WEGNER'S GRANULOMATOSIS-MANAGEMENT

SUMMARY

1. Treatment for GPA is aggressive because, without treatment, most patients die within 2 years.

2. To induce remission, use cyclophosphamide & corticosteroids usually for a minimum of 4-6 months.

3. Methotrexate and azathioprine are typically used for maintenance therapy.
