STROKE-SHOULDER PAIN CAUSES
SUMMARY
1. CRPS Type 1 (RSD): positive MCP compression test & skin changes.
2. Inferior subluxation: increased gleno-humeral gap distance.
3. Rotator cuff tear: during adduction look for a positive drop-arm test (indicates complete tear of supraspinatus tendon).
4. Impingement syndrome: painful arc (70o: 90o).
5. Adhesive capsulitis: external rotation < 15o
6. Bicipital tendonitis: positive Speed & Yergason's test.
