SUMMARY
1. Spinal cord related deficits: paresis, bladder & bowel dysfunction, sensory loss (pressure sore risk), tethered cord syndrome, syrinx.
2. Chiari II malformation deficits: hydrocephalus (associated cognitive dysfunction), brainstem dysfunction (dysphagia, VC paresis, strabismus, facial weakness), seizures (5%).
3. Orthopaedic: scoliosis, hip dislocation, contracture.
4. Others: lymphoedema (likely related to genetics), latex allergy.
