SUMMARY

1. Spontaneous voiding if safe and continence is maintained.

2. Intermittent self-catheterization is gold standard.

3. Anti-cholinergic therapy.

4. Mitrofanoff tract: peculiar to spina bifida. Useful in patients who wish to self-catheterize. Can be done in adults/children.

5. SPC insertion: when patients loose the ability to transfer.
