SUMMARY

1. Enters posterior compartment of arm along with profunda brachi a. through the triangular interval (medial: long head of triceps, lateral: humeral shaft, superior: teres major).

2. Gives off lower lateral cutaneous n. of arm. 3. Supplies triceps & anconeus.

4. Passes down the radial groove of humeral shaft to pierce the lateral intermuscular septum of forearm to enter the anterior compartment.

5. Supplies lateral part of brachialis, brachioradialis, ECRL.

6. Gives off posterior cutaneous n. of forearm.
