PVD-MEDICAL MANAGEMENT
SUMMARY
1. Statin in all patients.
2. Keep BP < 140/90 or< 130/80 with DM or CKD; beta-blockers are effective and not contraindicated.
3. Proper foot care.
4. Smoking cessation.
5. Antiplatelet therapy with aspirin/clopidogrel.
6. Exercise 30-45 minutes at least 3 days/week.
7. Management of Buerger disease/Takayasu arteritis.
