SUMMARY

1. Superficial wound with heavy exudate: foam dressing (e.g Curafoam).

2. Superficial wound with moderate exudate: hydrocolloid dressing (e.g Comfeel).

3. Superficial wound with minimal exudate: transparent membrane dressing (e.g Opsite).

4. Deep wound with heavy-moderate exudate: calcium alginate dressing, sodium-impregnated dressing, VAC dressing.

5. Deep wound with minimal exudate: hydrogel dressing (e.g. Flexgel).
