SUMMARY

1. GI complications: gastritis, peptic ulcer disease.

2. Renal complications: nephrotic/nephritic syndrome.

3. Cardiac: HTN, CCF, MI, stroke or other thrombotic events.

4. Haematological: increased risk of platelet dysfunction, electrolyte imbalance, sodium retention, and oedema.

5. Pulmonary: bronchospasm in asthmatic patients.
