ORTHOSES-LIMB LENGTH DISCREPANCY

From NeuroRehab.wiki

SUMMARY

1. Leg length discrepancies of less than 1⁄2 inch do not need correction.

2. The total discrepancy is never corrected. At most, 75% of the leg length discrepancy should be corrected.

3. The first 1⁄2 inch of the discrepancy can be managed with a heel pad. Additional correction requires the heel to be built up externally.
