PROS
1. Easier to navigate varied terrain
2. Can decrease knee hyper-extension by using dorsiflexion-assist or plantarflexion-stop
3. Provides ML stability to the ankle

CONS
1. Wider device, requires more space in the shoes
2. Not suitable for spasticity
3. Difficult to don/doff
4. Skin irritation from pressure & sweating
5. Poor cosmesis
6. Cannot be used barefoot
