SUMMARY

1. Limits inversion & eversion.

2. Saggital function depends on the trim lines & joints.

3. Prerequisites: patient must have 5-10° of dorsiflexion with knee extended, no gastroc spasticity.

4. Indications: foot-drop with moderate-severe ankle instability, toe walking without excessive knee flexion, mild to moderate spasticity.

5. Contraindications: restricted ROM, especially dorsiflexion.
