SUMMARY
1. Abductor digiti minimi: arises from the flexor retinaculum & pisiform. Inserts into the base of proximal phalanx of little finger & extensor expansion. A sesamoid bone is common in its tendon.
2. Flexor digiti minimi brevis: arises from the flexor retinaculum. Inserted into the base of proximal phalanx of little finger.
3. Opponens digiti minimi: arises from the flexor retinaculum & hook of hamate. Inserted into ulnar border of 5th MC.
4. All muscles are supplied by the deep branch of the ulnar nerve.
