2. Age < 35 yrs
3. Sensory or optic neuritis as the first presentation
4. Sudden onset of symptoms & almost complete recovery
5. Long remission of symptoms

POOR PROGNOSIS
1. Male sex
2. Age > 35 yrs
3. Initial motor or cerebellar dysfunction
4. Rapid progression of disease
