GENERAL INSPECTION OF THE FACE

SUMMARY

Look for:
1. Ptosis.
2. Proptosis.
3. Pupillary inequality.
4. Sturge-Weber syndrome = capillary or cavernous haemangiomas seen over the distribution of the trigeminal nerve. assoc. with intracranial venous haemangioma of the meninges and seizures.
5. Shingles over the trigeminal nerve distribution.
6. Surgical, craniotomy scars.
