SUMMARY
1. Melbourne Edge test: vision test for edge contrast.
2. Depth perception.
3. Gait speed (< 0.6-1 m/s), stride length.
4. Proprioception & balance: BBS, postural sway, postural BP.
5. Neuropathy screen.
6. LL strength: particularly in the knee extensors.
7. TUG score: ≤ 10 sec is normal; 11-20 sec is reasonable for frail elderly; > 20 sec increases risk of falls.
8. Bone health: FRAX score.
