Mnemonic: some people are unable to read, write, calculate or understand the names of pies
1. Alexia: acquired dyslexia, inability to read
2. Agraphia: inability to write
3. Acalculia
4. Wernickie's dysphasia: receptive dysphasia
5. Nominal dysphasia: inability to name objects from lesions of the posterior-superior temporal lobe
6. Homonymous superior quadrantinopia: 'pie in the sky' field defect due to disruption of the Meyer's loop which dips into the temporal lobe
DESTRUCTIVE LESIONS (NON-DOMINANT)
Mnemonic: I’m so drunk I can’t even see a quarter of your face
1. Homonymous superior quadrantinopia: 'pie in the sky' field defect
2. Prosopagnosia: failure to recognize faces
IRRITATIVE LESIONS
1. Formed visual hallucinations
2. Complex-partial seizures
3. Memory disturbances, e.g. déjà vu, etc.
