DRIVING-STROKE & TIA
SUMMARY
1. A person should not drive for 4 weeks (for private licence) or 3 months (for commercial licence) following stroke.
2. A person should not drive for 2 weeks (for private licence) or 4 weeks (for commercial licence) following TIA.
3. An unconditional licence may be considered subject to specialist reports regarding vision, visuospatial perception, insight, judgement, attention, comprehension, reaction time, memory, motor power, coordination & practical driver assessment (if required).
