DORSAL VENOUS NETWORK

SUMMARY
1. Large veins that lie superficially beneath the dorsal skin and drain the palm so that pressure of gripping does not impede venous return.
2. Drains on the radial side into the cephalic vein.
3. Drains on the ulnar side into the basilic vein.
