SUMMARY
1. All cells have cytoskeleton, a system of fibers that maintain the structure of a cell and permit it to change shape & move.
2. Cytoskeleton: microtubules, intermediate filaments, microfilaments.
3. Microtubules are made of alpha & beta subunits.
4. Form spindles which move chromosomes during mitosis, transport vesicles & organelles, fixes the shape of platelets.
