CORD SYNDROME-CRUCIATE PARALYSIS

SUMMARY

1. Similar to central cord syndrome, occurs with C1/C2 fractures with neurologic compromise at the cervico-medullary junction.

2. Clinical: UL weakness > LL weakness, respiratory paralysis (~25% of patients).
