8. Infraorbital nerve: the maxillary nerve changes its name as it enters the infraorbital fissure
- Emerging on the face, the infraorbital nerve lies between the levator labi superioris & levator anguli oris
- On the face it gives proprioceptive supply to the facial muscles: palpebral branch, facial branch, labial branch (upper lip only)
