ORIGIN
1. The ACA leaves the ICA at the anterior perforated substance and passes above the optic nerve
2. It is distributed to the orbital surface of the frontal lobe and medial surface of the hemisphere up to the parieto-occipital sulcus

3. Motor & sensory areas of the legs, perineum
4. Micturition & defecation centers
