SUMMARY
WARM UP
1. Revs up the CVS, increasing temperature, blood flow to heart & muscles.
2. Reduces muscle soreness, lessens the risk of injury.
3. Gradual increase in heart rate to reduce the risk of arrhythmias.
COOL DOWN
1. Gradual reduction of HR and BP.
2. Helps regulate blood flow and reduces afterload.
