SUMMARY

1. Sedentary work: lifting no more than 10 lbs. & walking/standing occasional.

2. Light work: lifting no more than 20 lbs. & fair amount of walking/standing.

3. Medium work: lifting no more than 50 lbs. & frequent carrying up to 25 lbs.

4. Heavy work: lifting no more than 100 lbs. & frequent carrying up to 50 lbs.

5. Very heavy: lifting more than 100 lbs. & carrying more than 50 lbs.

6. Hot & humid environment can increase the energy cost of work by 2-3x.
