SUMMARY

1. Axillary artery: first & second parts travel in the axilla

2. Axillary vein: lies medial to the artery and brachial plexus throughout

3. Brachial plexus: cords embrace the 2nd (posterior) part of the axillary artery in a manner indicated by their names (lateral, medial, posterior)

4. Tendons of the biceps brachii, coracobrachialis & pectoralis minor pass through

5. Axillary lymph nodes: receive lymph from UL & pectoral region
