SUMMARY

PARTIAL or NO sacral sparing
1. ASIA A ⇒ NO voluntary anal contraction & NO sacral sensory sparing.
2. ASIA B ⇒ NO voluntary anal contraction & sacral sensory sparing PRESENT & no motor function 3 levels below NLI.

Sacral sparing PRESENT & ANY function of 50% of muscles below NLI
3. ASIA C ⇒ more than 50% of muscles below NLI < 3 strength.
4. ASIA D ⇒ more than 50% of muscles below NLI > 3 strength.

NORMAL
5. ASIA E ⇒ everything normal!
