ARRHYTHMIAS-NON SUSTAINED VT

SUMMARY

1. Non-sustained VT: asymptomatic VT (> 3 sequential PVCs with HR > 100 bpm) lasting for < 30 sec.

2. Increased risk of death in patients with heart failure, cardiomyopathy.

3. NSVT without structural heart disease has good prognosis and doesn't require management.

4. Management: ICD implantation.
