SUMMARY


1. Median n. enters the hand through the carpal tunnel, deep to flexor retinaculum, b/w tendons of FCR & FDS.
 2. Divides into terminal branches in hand - palmar cutaneous branches & recurrent motor branch. 

PALMAR CUTANEOUS BRANCH
3. Supplies - palmar skin & dorsal nail beds of lateral 3.5 digits. 

RECURRENT MOTOR BRANCH
4. Curves back to supply - lateral 2 lumbricals, opponens pollicis, abductor pollicis brevis, flexor pollicis.
