1. Catecholamines ⟹ via beta1 adrenoceptors ⟹ increase intracellular cAMP.
2. Xanthines (caffine, theophylline) ⟹ via inhibition of breakdown of cAMP ⟹ increase intracelular cAMP.
3. Digitalis ⟹ effect the Na/K-ATPase ⟹ decrease calcium removal from the cytosol.
