SUMMARY

1. Proteinuria < 2gm/day: nephritic syndrome
- Low complement, systemic presentation: SLE, endocarditis, cryoglobulinemia
- Low complement, renal presentation: PIGN, MPGN
- Normal complement, systemic presentation: Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP), Goodpastures
- Normal complement, renal presentation: IgA, Alport

2. Proteinuria > 3.5gm/day: nephrotic syndrome
- Systemic presentation: DM, amyloidosis
- Renal presentation: minimal change disease, FSGS, membranous disease
