SUMMARY

1. Manage in ICU.
2. Septic workup + emperic antibiotics if infection is suspected.

3. Block adrenergic effects: IV propanolol/esmolol.
4. Block thyroid hormone synthesis: high dose MMI/PTU.
5. Block release of thyroid hormone: stable iodide.
6. Block T4 to T3 conversion: iodinated contrast agent, propanolol, PTU.
