SUMMARY
1. The hand includes the wrist.
2. 4 layers - (1) palmar aponeurosis; (2) thenar eminence, hypothenar eminence, long flexors of the hand; (3) thumb adductor; (4) interossi attached to metacarpals.
3. Long flexors => power grip.
4. Small muscles => fine, skilled movements.
