1. Electrolyte important for membrane stability. Hypokalemia leads to life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias.
2. Indications: persistent VF, hypokalemia.
3. SE: bradycardia, hypotension, asystole, extravasation may lead to tissue necrosis.

DOSAGE
4. Given as a slow infusion.
