SUMMARY

Issues to consider:
1. Health maintenance: secondary prevention of AMI/stroke prevention (anticoagulation, antiplatelet agents, beta-blockers, statins, diabetic control, BP control, smoking cessation)
2. Weaning sedative when possible
3. Weaning opioid analgesics where possible
4. Bowel, bladder care
5. Avoid alcohol where possible
6. Follow-up neuroimaging and OPD appointments
7. Spasticity management
