SUMMARY

EFFECTIVE
1. Methylphenidate may be effective in improving reaction time for working memory (level 1a) however response to methylphenidate may depend on the presence of the Met genotype and/or dopamine transporter levels (level 1b).
2. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy may improve attention and processing speed following an ABI (level 4).


INEFFECTIVE
1. It is unclear as to whether donepezil may improve attention.
2. Bromocriptine, rivastigmine, amantadine, dextroamphetamine do not appear to improve attention.
