SUMMARY

1. Often a 2-5 year lag in developmental milestones in children.

2. 50% are ambulant around the household & community (of these, 20% use walking aids and/or AFOs).

3. 50% use WC (of these, 20% may walk for exercise).

4. 38%-48% gainful employment.

5. Common cause of mortality: urosepsis & renal failure.
