SUMMARY

1. SNRI: duloxetine, venlafaxine (Number Needed To Treat [NNT] 6.4).

2. SSRI: fluoxetine (NNT 7).

3. TCA: amitriptyline, nortriptyline (NNT 3.6).

4. Antiepileptics: gabapentin (NNT 6.3), carbamazepine (NNT 5.7), valproate (NNT 4.3), pregabalin (NNT 7.7).

5. Topical patch: lignocaine, capsaicin.

6. NMDA antagonist: ketamine IV infusion.

7. Conventional analgesics: paracetamol, NSAIDs.

8. Opioids: oxycodone (NNT 4.7).

9. NSAIDS: voltaren, ibuprofen.
