SUMMARY

1. Divided into uni-modal (involving one sense) or multi-modal (involving multiple senses).

2. Also divided into egocentric (neglect of the body or personal space) or allocentric (neglect of the space around the patient).

3. Allocentric neglect:
- Peri-personal: refers to space within the patient's normal reach.
- Extra-personal: refers to object/environment beyond the patient's normal reach.
