SUMMARY

1. Functional assessment of activity limitation.

2. Scored with a scale of 1-7 over 18 domains (total score: 126).

3. 13 motor, 5 cognitive domains.

4. Scored from 18-126, with 18 being poor and 126 being completely independent with all facets.

5. Done 24 hours upon admission to Rehab unit and prior to discharge.

6. FIM is done in a national level (public and private units), so this is a good measure of comparison between units.
