SUMMARY

Dysarthria is impaired articulation of speech. Mayo clinic classification:
1. Flaccid: bulbar palsy

2. Spastic: pseudobulbar palsy

3. Ataxic: cerebellar disorders
4. Hypokinetic: Parkinsonism
5. Hyperkinetic: dystonia & chorea
6. Mixed: disorders of multiple motor systems (ALS)
