SUMMARY

1. Fatigue is the most common symptom of long COVID.

2. Prognosis: may last 3 months.

3. Investigate other causes of fatigue: blood investigations, psychological issues, medications.

MANAGEMENT
4. Healthy lifestyle & balanced diet.

5. Energy conservation/fatigue management strategy: planning, pacing, prioritising, positioning (4 Ps).

6. Optimize sleep hygiene (sleep hygiene advice, relaxation techniques, stimulus control).

7. Individualized & structured, titrated return-to-activity program.
