SUMMARY

Voiding problem:

1. Detrusor acontractile, areflexia; detrusor may also be overactive in approx. 25% of patients

2. Atonia of pelvic floor muscles

3. +/- sphincter incompetence (if sympathetic outflow intact) or sphincter insufficiency
4. +/- impaired sensation
