SUMMARY

1. High flow O2.

2. Fluid is administered regardless of whether hypotension is present, because allergic reactions, especially those caused by contrast agents, are worsened by dehydration.

3. SC or IV epinephrine is indicated, although the IV route has a more dependable uptake, particularly when a patient becomes hypotensive.

4. Hydrocortisone is given upon administration of epinephrine to counter.
