SPINE-NERVE ROOT RELATIONSHIP TO PROLAPSED DISC

SUMMARY
Throughout the lumbar vertebral column a paracentral disc herniation irritates the nerve root of the level below. E.g. L4/5 ⟹ L5 nerve root affected.
