CILIARY GANGLION-SITE

SUMMARY
1. The ciliary ganglion is a minute body (2mm) that lies lateral to the optic nerve as the opthalmic artery spirals around the nerve.
2. The ganglion is situated 1/3 of the way from the apex to the back of the eye.
