ARRHYTHMIAS-VENTRICULAR TACHYCARDIA (VT)

SUMMARY

1. Ventricular tachycardia (VT) is defined as 3 or more sequential QRS complexes of ventricular origin at a rate of 100 bpm or faster.

2. VT classification: non-sustained (asymptomatic < 30 sec) or sustained (symptomatic or > 30 sec).

3. VT can also be classified as monomorphic or polymorphic.
