SUMMARY

1. Assessment of degree of rigidity, bradykinesia, tremors, fine motor tasks, cognitive function, gait analysis, speech, swallowing.

2. Provide appropriate adaptive aids: weighted cutlery, easy reacher, long handled shoe horn, Velcro closure for clothing, weighted adaptive equipment.

3. Wheeled walkers are preferred to standard walkers.

4. Management of gait & postural instability.

5. Falls prevention; home assessment to modify environmental factors.

6. Cardiovascular fitness related exercises.
