Oxygen transport to the tissues: DO2 = cardiac output * (1.34 * Hgb level * SaO2)

Oxygen transported to the tissues depends on 3 factors:
1. Cardiac output = stroke volume * HR
2. Hemoglobin level
3. Hemoglobin saturation (SaO2)
