SUMMARY

1. RA systole precedes LA systole.

2. LV contracts before RV.

3. RV ejection begins before LV ejection (since PA pressure is lower than aortic pressure).

4. During inspiration, the aortic valve closes slight before pulmonic valve.

5. During expiration, the pulmonary & aortic valves close at the same time.
