SUMMARY

1. O: lateral tibial condyle, proximal lateral tibia & interosseous membrane.2. Its tendon passes beneath the superior extensor retinaculum (where it is enclosed by a synovial sheath) & inferior extensor retinaculum.
3. I: medial plantar surface of 1st MT base & medial cuniform.
4. NS: deep peroneal n.
5. A: dorsiflexion & eversion of the foot.
